Incumbent is responsible for the development and management of Class II Gaming sites of SGE. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of SGE, including implementation and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Serve as the official liaison between the Board of Directors and SGE Management. Will develop and implement SGE policies, goals, and objectives. Responsible for the evaluation of operations and will generate periodic reports to the Board of Directors. Monitor the financial integrity of gaming operations to ensure that the SNs financial interests are protected and confirms the General Managers are carrying its responsibilities as provided by the Gaming Ordinance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
- The SGE CEO will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all gaming operations and central administration consistent with MICS, TICS, and SICS. NIGC, SGA, and other SN entities.
- Develop long term goals with the Board of Directors.
- Provide direction and guidance in establishing operational and administration management, strategic direction and oversight of all Class II Gaming operations and ensure the gaming properties are operating in a sound and fiscally responsible manner.
- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost effective management of resources.
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and revenue for SGE.
- Oversees the fiscal activities of SGE including budgeting, reporting, and ensuring all necessary audits.
- Demonstrates effective leadership qualities and management techniques.
- Ensures all activities are in compliance with SGE P&Ps, Federal requirements, and Internal Control Systems (NIGC, SGA).
- Analyzes data and makes precise decisions to improve revenue flow.
- Facilitates a business strategic plan developing objectives that are reflective of SGEs overall goals.
- Participates in mentoring and training for the development of management and leadership skills of the management team.
- Provides regular reports regarding operational, financial, and updates on critical issues and concerns.
- Works closely with Board of Directors, C.F.O., and General Managers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Management, or Economics, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
2. Minimum of five (5) years progressive managerial experience in Tribal Gaming and/or Hospitality operations.
3. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
